Cashfog

Cashfog is smarter and easier way to maintain business transactions.

Cashfog is an online application to maintain business transactions. Cashfog is easy and fast, it is very flexible since it allows its users to modify almost everything, you can modify its design, language, transactions, accounts and much more.

Requirement

WAMP, MAMP, LAMP, XAMPP or any other server with PHP, MySQL and Apache installed are required to run this project.

Installation

Step 1: Download the project to root directory

• Download the project and unzip only in the root directory of your website root or localhost.

Step 2: Import database to MySQL

• Create a new database and then you need to import a .sql file to the new database. that file is: assets/db.sql in the root directory.

Step 3: Configure program

• Now you need to go to includes/config.inc.php in the root directory and then change MYSQL Details to your values.

Back Story

You probably don’t want to read it

This web app was designed and developed by me and was launched officially in 2016.

I started this venture after seeing my dad facing a lot of trouble with costly accounting software and also cause GST was going to be introduced in India and I thought that it’s the perfect time to enter the market.

Though I underestimated the market validation and I again did a crash landing, everything was great about it, the product was beautiful, the problem was there too but my solution to solve it was quite different so I should have done a market validation for to check the validity of my solution. But I am happy that I learned a lot from it, I fail fast to learn fast.
